GOODY BAGS (BOXES)

Made about 10 boxes so far.  I think I have about 5 or 6 more to go.

..........................................................

I had a whole bunch of empty swiffer boxes saved that I was going to use for random Barbie stuff for my granddaughter.  If you don't have enough empty swiffer containers - a person could use a gift bag.

I found a nice quality picture of Derpy on the internet.  I put 2 per page, and printed them out at the library (50 cents per color page - plus you get four free printed pages per month here)

  • I used one picture per box lid (so that's 25 cents)
  • I outlined the picture with a black fine tipped felt pen, and a white extra fine tipped pen (that I had already)
  • I secured the picture to the lid by gluing the paper with a glue stick.
  • I then put clear packing tape over top of the picture - so it also secures the picture to the lid. (I didn't think the glue stick would last too long with paper on plastic)  I also like the way it looks shiny, plus it protects the picture.  I trimmed the tape overlapping the edges.

  • I put a little "tail" for Derpy on the top left corner (glued it on the inside with a hot glue gun).  So it sticks out of the box a little bit - but the lid can still go on.  The tail was just from a ball of wool that I already had - which was originally from the dollar store

  • On some of the empty boxes, if there were any glue dabs from the swiffer labels or something, I would just hot glue a printed picture over top.

..........................................................
  • Some of the lids for the boxes fit snugger than others - so I put an elastic around each box so it doesn't spill out when the kids grab them at the party.
  • I blinged them up a bit by hot gluing the Huntrix knot on to the elastic and gluing a bit of furry wool I had on hand. (For the knot - you'd put the clear packing tape over, trim them, put two between the elastic band and glue together (hot glue)  Then hot glue a little dab of wool).

  • Then I made a tiny "Hello friend" envelope for the front, and in it, I put little VIP Passes that I made.  (Just designed something with power point and printed sheet out at library.  Put clear packing tape over and cut them out.)

I'm not sure what each filled little goody box costs, but it's generally super cheap.  I spent a few cents here and there at the library getting printing done, and bought a few Korean treats at Walmart.  The rest of the stuff I had at home - paper - glue - bits of wool, etc.  So I'm guess at most - maybe two dollars per box.

MINI MUKBANG

So far, I made a little variety of tiny (Barbie-sized) foods that relate to the K pop demon hunters movie.  I'm hoping I will have some  time to figure out some more food ideas - because they are so much fun.  Maybe some soda pop?  I have a few ideas, but I want to get the general boxes ready first - then I can always add to them.

..........................................................

Prepared Food

I noticed when I got my pills lately, they packed them in such cute little compartments.  Almost look like tiny Barbie-sized tupperware containers, or maybe like a precooked meal you'd buy at a grocery store.

Some boxes are filled with pills, others are empty

From a little grocery store I made for my granddaughter's barbies
  • I saved my pill containers - the used ones and empty ones.  I filled the containers with little bits of the kid's playdough and anything I could find that looked like it could be food.
  • Once filled - I put clear packing tape over the top for a see-through lid.  Then I trimmed off the excess tape.
  • I cut out some price tags and various labels from flyers (like... 'on sale' or 'fresh' ..etc).
  • I printed out some tiny nutrition content labels and bar codes that I found on the internet. (They are going to be too tiny to read anyways - so I just put random labels on a paper and printed - I wasn't fussy about how to scale them down properly and retain the quality.)
  • I glued them on with a glue gun.

  • Some of the containers don't have any pills inside - so the lids are intact.  In those cases, I  just poked a little hole in the top and stuffed cut up elastic bands (they make cute noodles) and covered up the hole with a food label.  (So in other words - they don't have a clear top)

..........................................................
Shrimp Chip Bags

Gamja Kkang 감자깡 (potato chips) and

 Saeukkang (shrimp chips)

From a little grocery store I made for my granddaughter's barbies

  • I searched around the internet and at various store sites, I found some cute little shrimp chip bags and juice containers with demon hunters.  I put them on pages, made pdfs and printed them out at the library.  Again - I didn't use any special program to scale them to mini size.  I just save the picture from the random store, and put the small pics on a page in Word.
  • I arranged them on the page so they'd have a front and a back when folded (so you'd have to do the back side upside down)

  • I cut the chip bags out in pairs (a front and a back) and put clear packing tape over the top.  Then I trimmed them.  This makes them look shiny - like a proper package of chips.

  • I folded the chip bags in half
  • Glued the 2 sides (hot glue gun)
  • Filled the little bag with bits of kleenex
  • Then glued the top shut
  • Did a final trim and cut the tops using jagged scissors

..........................................................

Healer Han Juice Containers

  • The juice containers fold sideways instead of up and down.  (So you'll have the juice boxes side by side and they'll both be right side up).  I just arranged them that way because that's how they fit on my paper.  Each page is 50 cents at the library, so I wanted to fit in as much as I could.
  • I put clear packing tape over the outside, then trimmed them
  • I bought a package of stick pins at the dollar store.  I wanted a round top.  The pins seemed a little long and I didn't want any of the kids to poke themselves, so I clipped the pins down.
  • I glued the bottom of the stickpin to the inside of the juice container and glued a bit of kleenex as well (just so there's not any sharp edges).  I used a hot glue gun.

  • Now I glued the sides of the juice box and closed it
  • I stuffed a few more bits of kleenex inside
  • Then finally I glued the top closed (hot glue gun)

..........................................................

Noodle Containers

Cup Ramyeon 컵라면

I made my own little mini noodle containers and printed them out at the library.  I designed them in powerpoint.  If you don't want to design your own, there are various sites with printouts (like esty) for purchase.  They appear to be very inexpensive.

  • I dabbed hot glue on the inside tips of the containers
  • Once they were glued in a circle, I put a dab of hot glue on a tiny piece of wax paper
  • I placed the noodle container on the dab of glue (This will be the bottom of the noodle container)
  • I filled the container with bits of kleenex
  • Once you reach the top, put a dab of hot glue in and around the edges, then place the lid on top
  • Trim off the hot glue and wax paper from the bottom

  • You can also cut up a few pieces of elastic (for noodles) and have them peeking out of the top of the noodle container
 ..........................................................

Hot sauce

 Buldak Sauce 불닭 소스

  • I made some hot sauce bottles from my eye drop containers.
  • I put hot glue in the top and inserted a stick pin for the lid
  • I cut off the bottom of the eye drop containers and put them on hot glue - then when they cooled I trimmed them.
  • I printed a teeny label just on my home black and white printer - because its so tiny.

MINIMUKBANG BLIND BAGS

I have a black and white printer at home, so I didn't have to pay to use the library copier.  (Although if I did - it might be around 10 cents per page - so super cheap)

  • I found some little pictures related to the demon hunters around the internet that would look okay in black and white.  I put one picture in the middle of each page.  The pages don't have to be the same size - so I cut some down after printing.
  • I folded up the pages (like a brochure, only the two ends should overlap a bit at the back), bent the two sides around to the back, then glued (glue stick) where the pages met at the back to make a little bag (like making a chip bag - there are lots of tutorials on the internet.  It's very easy).  It doesn't have to be super strong, because the mini food is extremely lightweight and the bags are going to be inside the box anyways.

  • I bought a little paper crimper for a couple of dollars on varrage sale.  I was really looking forward to using it.  It turned out to be a lot of fun.
  • I trimmed the top and bottom with pinking shear scissors I had at home.
  • I used a glue stick to glue the bottom of each bag.  I put 3 bags into each container.

  • They'd look cute all glued up at the top, but I wanted to be able to add some little things if I get the chance to make more.  So I punched a hole in the top of each bag and put some ribbon I had through each hole.
  • The demon hunters have a little symbolic Korean knot so printed some out, covered them with the clear packing tape, and hot glued them (front and back) on the top of each ribbon.

MINIMUKBANG POUCHES

Each little pouch is one of the 3 Kpop demon hunters.  I made them from noodle packages.  Each pouch has a little keychain

 ..........................................................

I bought a bunch of noodles with the Kpop demon hunters pics on - at the local Superstore down the street.  I'll eat the noodles, so no extra expense.  Actually, they were cheaper than the other noodles.

You get 4 packages of noodles per pack.  How cute is that!!

..........................................................
  • Carefully cut a bag, and place it on a piece of paper that you've folded like a brochure (with the 2 back flaps overlapping a bit - like the blind bags)  Make sure the girl's picture is placed in the middle third area (because that's going to be the front of the pouch).
  • I put the bottom through my paper crimper - just to make it a bit stronger
  • I glued the bag to the paper with a gluestick - just to tack it down.  That kind of material likely won't stick too long to paper.
  • I folded the bag around then scotch taped it to the paper.  That's what is going to stick your picture on for the most part. The tape  will be inside of your bag - so nobody is going to see it.   It's flimsy - but that's okay at this point.

  • Now I folded the 2 back pieces together - and a little overlapped at the back.
  • To secure the pouch, I used a hot glue gun.  The hot glue on the plastic sticks really good.
  • I trimmed off the excess top and bottom paper with my pinking shear scissors
  • I hot glued a little of the discarded bag to trim the top just to make it a little neater and stronger.

MINIMUKBANG KEYCHAINS

My granddaughter put this one on her little cheetah bag

..........................................................

  • I gathered up a few pieces of wool and rope that I had around
  • I bought some little colored binder rings at the dollar store
  • I cut the ropes and threaded them through the ring

  • I pulled the ropes together and tied them then put a little elastic around
  • I gathered up the chip bags and noodle containers

  • I put clear packing tape over the bags and containers.
  • Then trimmed them
  • I glued the chip bags to the various ends.
  • Glue around the edges first, then put bits of kleenex in, then glue the top
  • Trim around if needed
  • (I forgot to trim the top first, but oh well!)

  • When gluing the little noodle containers on - you have to make sure to string the lid through first
  • I did this by poking a hole through the lid then stringing the rope or piece of wool etc through

  • Then I made up the noodle container by putting hot glue on the two ends and rolling it up into a circle.

  • I placed it on a dab of glue for the base
  • Filled it with bits of kleenex
  • Then slid the lid on and glued it down.
  • On one of them, I cut up some elastics so it looked like noodles poking out
  • Now it can be trimmed
